Alte activitati pastoraleAbout 400,000 visitors and pilgrims come to the Abbey each year. The community regards the welcoming of these people and ministering to their needs as one of the ways in which they practise the Benedictine virtue of hospitality. The monastery runs an award-winning education service, providing information and teaching kits for children visiting the Abbey. About 12,000 children use this service annually. A few of the monks work in parishes away from the monastery or are chaplains to convents.
